The conference convenes researchers, students, corporate partners, startups, government agencies, and community stakeholders to advance solutions at the intersection of environmental quality, food systems, and health. HICMY is designed to translate credible research into field impact. The event addresses national priorities in food security and socio-economic resilience by connecting academic work to industry applications and community needs to strive for a better quality of life. Participants can expect forthright conversations on sustainability, biodiversity and ecosystems, energy, well-being, and cross-disciplinary R&D that aim to produce partnerships that actually move the needle. 

Abstract submissions are open to researchers, change-makers, and future-forward thinkers whose work aligns with the conference theme. The submission deadline is on Friday, 3 October 2025. Presentation eligibility spans environment, sustainability, well-being, food security, biodiversity and ecosystem, energy, and other interdisciplinary innovations.
