Leave a Nest Malaysia Strengthens ASEAN Innovation Network Through Deep Tech Tour 2025

Cyberjaya – Leave a Nest Malaysia successfully hosted a Deep Tech Tour to Indonesia from 22nd to 23rd Oct 2025 brought startups under Leave a Nest ecosystem, Tenaga Alam Sekitar Kita (M) Sdn Bhd (TEASK) and Eartheories Sdn Bhd. The two-day business tour aimed to explore potential collaborations in Indonesia and to strengthen initiatives that support business expansion across borders in the future. The program was held in conjunction with the Connect for Change Summit 2025, organised by KUMPUL.id, where Leave a Nest participated as an ecosystem partner.
Day 1: Connect for Change Summit 2025 event
The delegates participated in the Connect for Change Summit 2025 event, which featured a series of talks, networking sessions, and business matching opportunities with potential collaborators. During the session, TEASK was connected with HSBC Indonesia and BNI Ventures, while Eartheories had fruitful discussions with CCCEI, Paragon, and Prudential. The event ran from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with active participation from both local and international partners, providing valuable exposure to Indonesia’s growing innovation and startup ecosystem.

Day 2: Business tour and meeting in Jakarta
The second day of the program focused on direct engagement with innovation partners in Jakarta. The delegation visited Ecoxyztem (PT Greeneration Indonesia), a Climate-Tech Venture Builder, where business meetings and presentations were conducted. Both TEASK and Eartheories shared their company visions and technological solutions, while also learning about the innovative startups under Ecoxyztem’s portfolio. The session opened discussions for potential collaboration and mutual support between Malaysian and Indonesian startup ecosystems.

Following the session at Ecoxyztem, the delegation met with PT Xolare RCR Energy (SOLA), a company specialising in the asphalt and construction industry. The meeting, attended by Mr. Mochamad Bhadaiwi, the Main Director of PT Xolare, explored opportunities for future business partnerships and knowledge exchange. The meeting concluded around 4:00 PM (WIB) before the delegation departed for Bandung to continue their visit.

Day 3: Exploration and engagement with startups in Bandung
The third day of the program focused on exploring innovation and fostering engagement with startups in Bandung. The visit began at PT Bentara Tabang Nusantara (BETA UAS), a drone manufacturing company in Indonesia. The delegates toured the company’s warehouse, where they learned about its cutting-edge drone technologies and latest projects. Following the visit, the delegates had the opportunity to present, share, and discuss potential future collaborations, exploring ways to create synergies and strengthen ties between startups in both Malaysia and Indonesia.

After that, the delegates met with Batari Energy to explore potential collaboration opportunities. Both the delegates and the Batari Energy team shared updates on their respective innovations before touring the company’s workshop and R&D laboratory, a new facility established since Leave a Nest’s previous visit.

The final business visit concluded with a stop at PT Liberta Inovasi Medika. During the session, the delegates had the opportunity to present and discuss their innovations and technologies, exploring potential areas of collaboration and connection with PT Liberta Inovasi Medika.
