Deep Tech Tour Malaysia 2026 Bridges Japanese and Malaysian Innovation Ecosystems

Leave a Nest Malaysia successfully hosted the Deep Tech Tour (DTT) Malaysia 2026, a strategic three-day immersive program connecting Japanese industry leaders with Malaysia’s rapidly growing deep-tech and innovation ecosystem. The initiative focused on strengthening cross-border collaboration in advanced manufacturing, sustainable energy, semiconductor technology, smart infrastructure, and industrial digitalization.

A key highlight of the program was the introduction to Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem at Centre of Garage Malaysia (COGMY) in Cyberjaya. Operated by ACeT Innovate and Leave a Nest Malaysia, the hub demonstrated how Malaysia is actively supporting research commercialization, startup development, and collaboration between academia and industry. The session provided Japanese delegates with a broader understanding of Malaysia’s role as an emerging regional innovation hub in Southeast Asia.
