Tech-Garage Seminar Vol. 10: Advancing Malaysia’s Industrial DX with Japanese Autonomous Mobile Robots
Leave a Nest Malaysia will host Tech-Garage Seminar Vol. 10 on 29 July 2026 at the Center of Garage Malaysia in Cyberjaya, featuring Japanese autonomous mobile robot developer Industry Alpha Inc. and Malaysian engineering and technology company DreamEDGE Sdn. Bhd.
Under the theme “Advancing Malaysia’s Industrial DX with Japanese Autonomous Mobile Robots,” the seminar will explore how autonomous mobile robots, or AMRs, can contribute to greater productivity, operational efficiency, and safety in Malaysia’s manufacturing and industrial sectors.
A key highlight of the event will be the celebration of a Memorandum of Understanding between Industry Alpha and DreamEDGE. The agreement represents an important step towards developing a local framework for the deployment, maintenance, and further development of Industry Alpha’s robotic solutions in Malaysia.
Building a Japan–Malaysia Partnership for Industrial Automation
Industry Alpha was selected to participate in a Japanese government-supported “Global South” project covering Malaysia. Under the project, Leave a Nest supported Industry Alpha in identifying potential Malaysian partners and exploring opportunities for local business development.
Through this initiative, Industry Alpha connected with DreamEDGE, which has extensive experience in engineering, digital technology, and the development of solutions suited to Malaysia’s industrial environment.
Following a series of discussions and local visits, the two companies agreed to work together to accelerate the introduction of autonomous mobile robots into the Malaysian market.
The collaboration aims to combine Industry Alpha’s robotics technology with DreamEDGE’s understanding of local industries, customer needs, engineering requirements, and business networks. The companies will explore activities including local sales, technical support, maintenance, demonstration projects, and the joint development of solutions adapted to Malaysian operational environments.
The event is designed for manufacturing companies, logistics operators, warehouse operators, system integrators, government-related organizations, and other stakeholders interested in autonomous mobile robots and industrial digital transformation.
