Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference in the Philippines 2021 to happen on December!
Since 2012, Leave a Nest has been hosting Hyper Interdisciplinary Conferences (HIC) in various countries such as Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Here, people from different institutions, academia, ventures, companies, and even people from the local government have gathered to discuss issues to create new innovative ideas and solutions for the development of the country.
The Philippines has hosted an HIC back in 2019 discussing about “Island Issues and its Potentials”. This year 2021, with the formation of Leave a Nest Philippines subsidiary, the Philippines is hosting yet again another HIC with the theme of “Inclusive Disruption in an Island Nation: Disrupting with New Technologies while Maximizing Accessibility”.
The conference aims to discuss about how various public and private sectors have provided support to different researchers, ventures, institutions, and other sectors of science and technology ever since the COVID pandemic hit the world last 2020, and how the creation of technologies is crucial to the country's development, while making sure that these technologies do not leave anyone behind. We will focus the topics on three main sectors which are agriculture, medical care, and technology services.
The HIC in the Philippines 2021 will be held on December 11, 2021 from 1:00pm to 5:45pm Philippine Standard Time with three main panel sessions. There will also be a technology splash session where various presenters of different backgrounds would be allowed to give short presentations about their researches and business. The conference will be held fully online and will be streamed via the Leave a Nest Broadcasting System. Viewers from academia and government institutions can watch free of charge.
