An Opportunity to Explore Degree Programs Before College: Yugto x Aggies by Leave a Nest Philippines

High school students often have trouble deciding and transitioning to the next stage or “yugto” of their lives — going into college. In order to support these students, Leave a Nest Philippines developed the Yugto Project, a venue for students to know more about different degree programs so they can make more informed decisions for their future.
The first event of the Yugto Project will be held on the 29th of January 2022 in collaboration with “XU Aggies” — people from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan’s College of Agriculture. It will feature the following degree programs offered by the Filipino, Catholic, and Jesuit educational community:
- BS Agriculture
- BS Agribusiness
- BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering
- BS Food Technology
- BS Development Communication
The event is also supported by Wela Online, a Mindanao-based EduTech (education technology) startup in which Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. Japan has invested in 2019.
Event Details and Timeline:
Date: 29 January 2022
Time: 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM PST
Venue: Online via ZOOM (link will be sent to those who have registered via the form below)
Target participants: Senior high school students (Grades 11-12), but other grade levels are also encouraged to participate
Participation is FREE but limited, and a certificate will be given to those who will attend the event.
