Yugto is Back for Exploration Before Transitioning from High School
Yugto Project, one of the first projects conducted solely by Leave a Nest Philippines, is back to help high school students explore and make informed decisions as they transition from high school to college!
Transitioning from high school can sometimes make high school students feel lost, especially if they do not know what course or program to take and what they can expect from these programs. Their knowledge can be limited by what's popular around them just to realize that it's not the path they wanted to take, which can lead to a higher amount of resources spent and sometimes a delay in graduation. Yugto Project aims to address these issues by providing a venue for high school students to explore different degree programs and find what they want to pursue through a series of discussions and workshops with university faculty and personnel.
Yugto was first held online in 2022 with the College of Agriculture of Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan (see previous implementation's news release). This year, it will be the first time that it will be held on-site at YMCA of Manila this coming April 13, 2024 (Saturday) at 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It will feature degree programs from different universities in Metro Manila who will also be sharing the uniqueness of their university and their programs through a University Pitch and several rounds of workshops. Participants will be given time to interact and ask questions to university faculty and share their expectations and ideas on the different degree programs these universities offer.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for students from Grade 10 – 12. Please note that the number of students that can be accommodated in the venue can be quite limited, so make sure to register early!
