TECH PLANTER PH 2025 Returns to UST for Its 9th Year!

Leave a Nest Philippines proudly announces that the 9th edition of the TECH PLANTER in the Philippines will once again be hosted in collaboration with the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas (UST), through its Technology Business Incubator (TBI), the TOMASInno Center (TIC).

This renewed partnership reinforces a shared commitment to strengthening the country’s deep tech ecosystem. As the Philippines’ only deep tech-focused platform supporting researchers, startups, and innovators tackling real-world problems, TECH PLANTER continues to grow in scale and impact.

For the second time, the TECH PLAN Demo Day in the Philippines will be held on-site at the new 22-storey Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Building in UST, located along España Boulevard, Sampaloc, Manila. The event will bring together leaders from academia, government, and industry—locally and globally—to witness Filipino deep tech innovators pitch their technologies and solutions.

This milestone builds on the success of the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference in the Philippines 2023, also co-organized with UST. With this continued collaboration, Leave a Nest Philippines and UST aim to spotlight and strengthen nurturing support systems for researchers and startups, pushing forward the deep tech agenda in the Philippines. As we mark #EmpoweredAt9, we celebrate this enduring alliance and its contributions to the country’s innovation landscape.

🏛 About TOMASInno Center

The TOMASInno Center (TIC) is UST’s official Technology Business Incubator (TBI), established in August 2019 with support from DOST–PCIEERD. It serves Thomasians and the broader innovation community, providing incubation, mentorship, and startup support. TIC has supported key initiatives with Leave a Nest Philippines including HIC PH 2024, and DOST-SEI’s Project SET Demo Day, where it awarded incubation slots to five undergraduate teams.
