Dr. Ekathai Wirojsakunchai is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University. A leading expert on Thailand’s pressing PM2.5 air pollution issue, his research spans air quality monitoring, pollution control technologies, and sustainable strategies to combat harmful particulate matter. With extensive contributions to environmental studies and public policy consultations, Dr. Ekathai is highly regarded for providing science-based solutions to mitigate the health and environmental impacts of air pollution. His work continues to influence sustainable innovation and raise awareness on pollution control, making him a valuable expert in addressing Thailand’s environmental challenges.

Dr. Apiwat has a background in electronic engineering, industrial management, and innovation management. With experience in RFID, Auto-ID, and semiconductor business development within the global supply chain, he specializes in technology commercialization, translational research, IP strategy, and business development. As Managing Director of VISUP Co., Ltd., a venture builder under VISTEC, he collaborates with Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) units of PTT Group and KBank to support Deeptech startups in biotech, advanced materials, medical devices, IoT, and AI. Passionate about bridging academia and industry, he fosters collaborations to drive impactful innovation.
