MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA SIGNS MOU WITH LEAVE A NEST GROUP TO ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY-BASED STARTUPS AND ECOSYSTEM DEVELOPMENT
Jakarta, Indonesia – 20th July – The Directorate of Small-Sized and Medium-Sized Metal, Machinery, Electronic, and Transportation Industries of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Leave a Nest Group. The MoU was officially signed on 20th July at PIDI4.0, Jakarta, by Ir. Dini Hanggandari, Director of Small-sized and Medium-sized Metal, Machinery, Electronic, and Transportation Industries of the Directorate General of Small, Medium-sized, and Multifarious Industries, and Dr. Yukihiro Maru, Founder and Group CEO of Leave a Nest Co., Ltd.
The agreement is aimed at accelerating the growth of technology-based startups and enhancing Indonesia’s technology solution ecosystem. The collaboration focuses on fostering innovation through initiatives such as human resource development, product research, and business development, ultimately supporting the broader startup ecosystem.
The MoU outlines several key areas of cooperation, including technology transfer, market access, funding opportunities, and startup coaching programs. These efforts are designed to strengthen the capabilities of Indonesian startups, helping them navigate market challenges and grow sustainably. Additionally, the partnership will focus on the development of super factories and technology incubation centers in Indonesia, which will serve as hubs for innovation and technological advancement.
The partnership reflects the Ministry of Industry’s commitment to advancing technological innovation in Indonesia by creating an enabling environment for startups to flourish. It also highlights Leave a Nest’s dedication to bridging knowledge and technology transfer between Japan and Southeast Asia region particularly Indonesia, fostering greater international collaboration and economic growth in the region. By partnering with Leave a Nest, both parties aim to create a sustainable, technology-driven ecosystem that can drive long-term economic growth and international collaboration.
