On 22nd November 2024, Leave a Nest Malaysia proudly hosted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony, marking a significant milestone in academic and industrial collaboration with Universitas Satyagama and Universitas Teknologi Nusantara (UTN). Held at the Centre of Garage Malaysia in Cyberjaya, the ceremony underscored a shared commitment to fostering impactful advancements in education, research, and technology for the betterment of society.

The event began with a welcoming speech by Mr. Abdul Hakim Sahidi, Managing Director of Leave a Nest Malaysia, who emphasized the organization's mission to bring technology closer to society. “We are serious about collaborating with universities and industries to create a meaningful impact. Universities are home to vast pools of young talent, and it is our goal to empower the next generation not just as workers but as leaders for industries, communities, and the global stage,” he said. Mr. Hakim also highlighted the importance of fostering the right mindset and leveraging technology to advance science and technology for global happiness. He expressed optimism that this MOU would pave the way for impactful projects benefitting Indonesia and beyond.

Representing Universitas Satyagama and UTN, Ms. Ayu Putri Ana delivered remarks on behalf of Ms. Khitara Aidilla Chandra, Rector of both institutions, who was unable to attend due to prior commitments. Ms. Ayu underscored the significance of this partnership as a step toward fostering academic and industrial synergies.

“This MOU is more than just a document—it symbolizes our commitment to strengthening collaboration and mutual respect between our institutions. Through this partnership, we envision creating research and learning opportunities that transcend national borders,” said Ms. Ayu. She further elaborated on the importance of exchanging knowledge and resources among students, educators, and communities, while expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this collaboration a reality.

The MOU reflects a shared dedication to advancing education, promoting innovation, and addressing societal challenges through collaborative efforts. With a focus on joint projects, knowledge exchange, and fostering the next generation of leaders, the institutions are committed to moving forward together toward a brighter future for education and industry. 

The event was attended by representatives from both organizations, including a delegation from Universitas Satyagama and Universitas Teknologi Nusantara (UTN). The UTN delegation comprised Ms. Ayu Putri Ana, Vice Rector II; Mr. M. Reza Alfikri, Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service; Ms. Ester Juliana Sitohang, Head of the Quality Assurance Institute; and Mr. Waradzi Mustakim, Head of the Engineering Study Program.

From Leave a Nest Malaysia, the attendees included Mr. Abdul Hakim Sahidi, Managing Director; Mr. Nur Ahmad Zaim Hussin, Director; along with Ms. Aisyah Abdul Hamid, Ms. Mahirah Basri, Dr. Ezral Ghazali, Mr. Muhammad Basril Muhammad Asri, and Ms. Nor Faziela Mohamad Amin.
