SCENT Program Wraps Up with Remarkable Demo Day, Highlighting Innovative Technologies in Nature and Health Tech
The SCENT Program successfully concluded its comprehensive training journey with an impressive Demo Day, held on November 16, 2024. The program, which began on May 4, 2024, showcased innovations from eight outstanding teams (three demo day invited teams) categorized into two themes: Nature Tech: Harmonizing Natural Ecosystems and Lifelong Wellness in Health Tech.
Over six months of mentoring and training, these teams developed cutting-edge solutions addressing critical challenges in environmental sustainability and health technology, culminating in live presentations before an esteemed panel of judges and industry partners.
Nature Tech: Harmonizing Natural Ecosystems
- 5A’s BioSquad – Developed technology for revolutionizing heavy metal detection, and advancing environmental monitoring.
- BeeBetter – Introduced an innovative stingless bee propolis hydrogel patch, merging natural resources with healthcare.
- TreeHub – Designed the TreeBin: a solar-powered AI waste segregator, empowering waste management with eco-friendly AI solutions.
- NaturaLab – Launched the Science to Soil initiative, transforming agricultural practices through advanced lab equipment.
Lifelong Wellness in Health Tech
- Silver Life Hub – Presented a specialized platform for elderly care, promoting lifelong wellness for seniors.
- PulseTech – Unveiled KiddiCare, an advanced monitoring wristband for children’s safety and health.
- Metacare4u – Created a one-stop healthcare platform, streamlining access to health services.
- Yes Phyto Empire – Showcased the Herbal Hub Muallim, promoting the power of herbal remedies in modern wellness.
