Let’s Get Building: Science Castle Philippines Returns for Its Third Year, Calls for Young Researchers Nationwide!

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Every great scientific discovery begins with a question, and every strong scientific community begins with curious minds coming together.
Leave a Nest Philippines officially launches Science Castle Philippines 2027, returning for its third implementation to bring together young researchers from across the country to showcase their discoveries, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections within the scientific community.
Happening on April 3–4, 2027 (Saturday and Sunday) in Metro Manila, the two-day national research conference invites junior and senior high school students to present their research and innovative ideas across the fields of NEST (Nature, Engineering, Science, and Technology).
With the theme “Building the Castle: Connecting Young Scientists, Brick by Brick,” this year’s conference celebrates the role of every young researcher in shaping the future of Philippine science.
Building the Castle: Connecting Young Scientists, Brick by Brick
Just like a castle, a strong scientific community is built piece by piece.
At Science Castle Philippines 2027, each brick represents a student’s research or idea, while the glue represents the people, conversations, and collaborations that connect them. Together, these form the castle: a growing scientific community strengthened by shared curiosity, passion for learning, and heart to collaborate.
Building on its previous implementations, Science Castle Philippines 2027 aims to connect even more young scientists from different schools and regions, creating opportunities for their ideas to grow through scientific exchange and collaboration.
Because at Science Castle, we are not just showcasing research. We are building the scientific community, one brick and one connection at a time.
Calling Young Researchers Nationwide: Showcase Your Research!
Have a research project or innovative idea worth sharing? Science Castle Philippines 2027 invites junior and senior high school students from schools across the Philippines to showcase their work!
We welcome research projects under NEST (Nature, Engineering, Science, and Technology), covering a wide range of topics such as biodiversity, environmental sustainability, agriculture, health sciences, robotics, engineering solutions, emerging technologies, and other scientific investigations.
Whether your research explores the natural world, develops a solution to a real-world challenge, or investigates something entirely new, Science Castle is a platform to share your work and connect with fellow young scientists.
More than presenting research, students will have the opportunity to gain new perspectives, develop their scientific communication skills, and discover possibilities for future investigations. Participants can look forward to:
- • Oral and Poster Presentations – Showcase research findings and exchange ideas with fellow students and STEM professionals.
- • Workshop Sessions – Explore new scientific concepts through interactive learning experiences.
- • Mentoring Sessions – Receive insights and constructive feedback from experienced researchers (for oral presenters only).
- • Castle Connections – [NEW THIS YEAR!] Connect with fellow researchers through interactive conversations.
Be Part of Science Castle Philippines 2027!
As Science Castle Philippines enters its third year, we look forward to welcoming more young researchers, educators, and STEM professionals who share our passion for advancing science and technology.
The castle is growing, and your ideas can be part of it. Join us as we build the future of science, brick by brick!
