LEAVE A NEST MALAYSIA INKED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH TINTA PENDIDIKAN SDN. BHD.
On 19th Feb 2021, Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., subsidiary of Leave a Nest Co.,Ltd, the leading knowledge-based platform company inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tinta Pendidikan Sdn. Bhd. The MoU was signed by Mr. Abdul Hakim Sahidi, Managing Director, Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd and Principal Muhammad Hafizi Mihzan bin Zaidon, Head of Business, Tinta Pendidikan Sdn. Bhd with the witness of Dr. Kihoko Tokue, Managing Director, Leave a Nest Singapore Pte.Ltd. and Datin Paduka Zaliza Alias, Chief Executive Officer, of Gains Education Group.
This MoU is to foster close collaboration in knowledge sharing and to pursue co-research activities on key areas of common interests in enhancing STEM Education.
Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd has been working extensively in developing NEST Education related programs. NEST Education is Leave a Nest’s original approach to nurture global leaders in Science and Technology. Some of the signatures program including Science Castle, Great Teacher Seminar and non exhausting lists of original workshops to solve the deep issues of declining interest among the young generation towards Science stream. Not only that, Leave a Nest develops a complete ecosystem that is able to support the growth of a person in Science and Technology from education, talents development, R&D as well as entrepreneurship.
Tinta Pendidikan or it’s school name, Tinta School being a subsidiary company of GAINS Education Group is dedicated to improving the lives of students. With the government set to define STEM as the future of education, exacerbating it is the turn up rate of students in for primary and secondary level. In line with the government initiative to promote STEM and instill a culture of innovation among students as outlined in the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025, GAINS Education Group is the first to fully implement STEM in the Primary School Curriculum (KSSR) through Tinta School. Under the framework of this MoU, part of the plans and initiatives will include activities such as joint workshops, seminars aimed at sharing knowledge, the exchanges of information and consultation in the interest of identifying additional areas such as Life Sciences, Engineering, Robotics and artificial intelligence.
Commenting on the collaboration, Mr. Abdul Hakim Sahidi, Managing Director of Leave a Nest Malaysia said “This is the second school we had inked an MoU after a Science Border School last year. Through this collaboration, we hope to work closely with Tinta Pendidikan in creating impactful programs not only for students but also for the teachers and parents. We also could bridge the school with our vast network of schools, researchers, startups and companies not only in Malaysia but also in other ASEAN countries and Japan. Ultimately, we have the common vision of nurturing the future global leaders in Science and Technology for the global happiness”
On the other hand, Principal Muhammad Hafizi Mihzan bin Zaidon, Head of Business, Tinta Pendidikan Sdn. Bhd., said “ I feel that the MoU signing ceremony marks a significant growth for Sekolah Tinta.
