A technology entrepreneur and researcher, Dr Alief represents a new generation of scientist-founders who actively bridge deep scientific research with real-world industrial impact. Recognized as one of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)’s Best Doctoral Graduates and a former researcher at RIKEN, Japan, he brings both global research exposure and strong local commitment to Indonesia’s technological future.
Dr Alief is the founder and technical lead of Batari Energy, AMI Scientific, and Cimahi Battery Industry, where he translates advanced research in energy storage and scientific instrumentation into scalable, commercially viable solutions. With an h-index of 10 and years of experience in high-impact research, his work focuses on utilizing renewable energy through battery-based energy storage systems for residential and industrial applications. Today, he leads a multidisciplinary team of around 40 professionals, developing high-tech manufacturing products, particularly in battery production, an area deeply rooted in his academic expertise.
