One Step Closer to Tech Frontier Explorer x Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Training Program (TFE SCENT) Demo Day 2026

Cyberjaya – Leave a Nest Malaysia, in collaboration with Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC), successfully conducted the Pre-Demo Day for the Tech Frontier Explorer x Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Training (TFE SCENT) 2026. The Pre-Demo Day was held on 23rd April 2026 via online featured 16 teams from final year students, University of Technology Sarawak UTS.

The Pre-Demo Day served as a key milestone to select finalist teams and lightning talk participants for the upcoming Demo Day.

Pre-Demo Day participation 

A total of 16 teams presented their innovations, which were evaluated by a panel of distinguished judges: Dr. Christine Jamie (SDEC), Mr. Mohd Afiq Hazman (TrackerHero), and Mdm Eileen Ong Sing Ling (UTS). The judging panel was led by Dr. Suzianti Iskandar Vijaya from Leave a Nest Malaysia.

Distinguished judges of Pre-Demo Day

Each team was assessed based on the novelty of their ideas, potential impact on society, practicality, and the passion demonstrated during their presentations.

From this session, several teams were selected as finalists, including Aurumvelle Technologies, 5Flat, Skyes, Broken Pasta, Innovibe, Starlight, MyCareer, Seeker, and BTC. In addition, teams such as Jujutsu Kaizen, Radiant, Kencana, Ferrum (8), DevSync, Tekkonologia, and 1Infinite were chosen to deliver lightning talks at the upcoming Demo Day.

The Pre-Demo Day reflects the strong commitment of Leave a Nest Malaysia and its partners in nurturing young innovators and strengthening the science and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The selected teams will move forward to the final stage, where they will showcase their ideas and compete at the TFE SCENT 2026 Demo Day.
