MoU Exchange Between TERAJU and Leave a Nest at Majlis Tiga Agensi Mandat Bumiputera di bawah Kementerian Ekonomi

Cyberjaya, Selangor – May 20, 2024 – A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchange took place between TERAJU and Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. during the Majlis Tiga Agensi Mandat Bumiputera di bawah Kementerian Ekonomi (Three Bumiputera-mandated Agencies under the Economy Ministry). This event focuses on the realignment of three agencies under the Ministry of Economy (MOE): Yayasan Peneraju, TERAJU, and Ekuinas, and was held at Cyberview Resort & Spa in Cyberjaya, Selangor. The event was graced by the presence of YB Rafizi Ramli, the Minister of Economy, who also officially opened it.

The MoU was exchanged by Mr. Junady Nawawi, Chief Executive Officer of TERAJU, and Mr. Abdul Hakim Sahidi, Managing Director of Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The ceremony was witnessed by the Minister of Economy, YB Rafizi Ramli, Secretary General, Ministry of Economy YBhg. Dato’ Nor Azmie Diron along with the Group CEO of Leave a Nest, Dr. Yukihiro Maru.

TERAJU, a pivotal entity under the Ministry of Economy, is committed to advancing inclusive economic growth by empowering the Bumiputera economic and socioeconomic agenda. “Bumiputera,” translating to “sons of the soil,” refers to specific indigenous peoples of the Malay Peninsula and Malay Archipelago, as well as those in Sabah and Sarawak. Since its establishment in 2011, TERAJU has been dedicated to fostering a sustainable ecosystem for Bumiputera development, with a focus on elevating their economic status. The MoU exchange represents a major step forward in supporting the growth and development of Bumiputera entrepreneurs, reinforcing TERAJU's mission to empower the Bumiputera community through strategic partnerships and innovative initiatives.

The MoU with TERAJU marks a significant milestone for Leave a Nest (LVNS) as a knowledge manufacturing company. This collaboration is a strategic move for Leave a Nest Malaysia, enhancing its ability to support Bumiputera entrepreneurs, expanding its network, and contributing to Malaysia's inclusive economic growth. LVNS will cooperate with TERAJU in identifying relevant industries and markets for Bumiputera entrepreneurs' development within the scope of LVNS’s training programs and modules.
