NEST Career Design Seminar Series together with Euglena & Metabologenomics from Japan
Leave a Nest Group is composed of various members with different expertise, skill sets and personalities yet there is one thing that ties us together. That is our vision “Advancing Science and Technology for Global Happiness”
We are looking for members who would like to join us under this vision and are willing to add on their “colour” to the company so we can create the history of Leave a Nest Journey together here in Singapore. Either you are a new member or have been with the company longer, we believe each and every member is capable of contributing and exercising leadership.
This time we are bringing NEST Career Design Seminar with 2 startups.
First guest is Dr. Kengo Suzuki from Euglena. Euglena is a company which utilize the power of microalgae to create food to fuel and even cosmetics.
Second guest is Dr. Tenagy Hertanto from Metabologenomics Inc. Metagen is a company which can visualize your health by analyzing intestinal flora in hope to eliminate diseases from the world.
Leave a Nest is also working closely with various startups to bring their business into the world.

Dr. Kengo Suzuki
Dr. Suzuki is a co-founder, and executive officer Euglena Co., Ltd. He has 2 Phd, one in Agriculture and another in Medicine. He also holds a position as RIKEN researcher for Micro algae Production Control Technology Laboratory Team Leader (PI). He is very keen to collaborate with startups and other businesses to bring new value into the society. His activities are not limited to Japan but all over the world. He also is visiting professor at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology, UTM, Malaysia.
Dr. Tenagy Hertanto
Tenagy was born and raised in Central Java, Indonesia. After obtaining bachelor’s degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada, she came to Japan to pursue M.Sc. in Biotechnology at the University of Tokyo and Ph.D. in Life Science at Tokyo Institute of Technology. In 2019, she joined Metabologenomics, Inc. as a researcher in gut microbiota analysis. And from mid-2021, she was appointed as a Global Business Department Manager. She is currently preparing for Metabologenomics, Inc.’s international collaboration, especially in Southeast Asia.
