Introducing our panelists for session 2 who will be having discussions on the theme of working in the startup sector! Each panelist will be giving a short presentation about themselves before proceeding on to the discussions.
Speaker 1 – Mr. Jovan Tan
Mr. Jovan Tan has vast experiences in launching & consulting for both for-profit and non-profit enterprises. He is also the co-creator of Restorative Innovation and the founder of RIGHT Foundation, a non-profit think tank dedicated to advance and proliferate the body of knowledge of Restorative Innovation. In his previous roles, he has led special projects and built business units from scratch. More recently, he was also involved in venture capital, teaching, and research. Jovan is also an Adjunct Lecturer with Platform E by SIM and he holds a Master of Science in Management from the National University of Singapore.
Speaker 2 – Mr. Tan Ming Jie
Mr Tan Ming Jie, a Cell Biologist that specialised in humanised 3D skin Organoid that can serve as flexible and powerful platform that caters to a wide range of testing methods. He cofounded DeNova Sciences in late 2012 where he assumes the roles of Chief Scientific Officer overseeing the laboratory testing capabilities. Graduated with Master of Science from NTU, he is currently developing a testing platform that mimic major human organs to better evaluate and understand the product in the most ethical way to safeguard the consumer health and enhance quality of products.
Speaker 3 – Mr. Aaron Wong
Mr. Aaron Wong is in charge of marketing and partnership initiatives at SinFooTech. Prior to joining SinFooTech, he worked at the Changi Airport Group as part of the team that successfully developed and operationalised Terminal 4, Changi Airport’s newest terminal. Following the completion of the Terminal 4 project, he decided to pursue his interest in marketing and communications by joining HubSpot Singapore, an American marketing and sales SaaS company, as part of its team of frontline Customer Support Specialists. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management degree (majoring in Corporate Communication) from the Singapore Management University.
